I looking for someone to take over my room, starting early to mid-january 2024 as I accepted a job elsewhere. The rent is 460 euros per month, plus all utilities (gas, water, electricity, internet) are about 60 euros monthly.
It is a ~22 m2 room in a two-bedroom apartment in a beautiful Altbau building with high ceilings.
The apartment has a dishwasher, washing machine, refrigerator, freezer, fully equipped kitchen, bathtub and all essential furniture. It is heated with gas.
I am want to sell all my furniture to the person that takes my room (bed frame, mattress, shelves, bookshelf, mirror, couch, dresser, wardrobe) - everything but the couch was purchased new in the last year. I would ask 1200 for the furniture. The deposit is 1500.
Please reach out to me if you are interested, I am happy to answer questions and give an apartment tour. The floorplan of the apartment is attached, highlighted in yellow. Please include your occupation, a bit about yourself, and how long you want to rent the apartment for.
The apartment is a 13 minute walk to Spittelau (U4,U6), 12 minute bus ride to Heiligenstadt (10A), and 8 minute walk to Nussdorfer Straße (U6). It is also a five minute walk to the 38 and D trams. There is a Spar and Billa within a 5 minute walk, and a lovely biergarten and pizza place next door. It is a five minute walk to Wahringer Park and fifteen minute walk to Türkenschanzpark. There are also two gyms within a couple blocks.
The other bedroom is rented by a physics graduate student, and it has been lovely living with her. She is learning German, but English is the common language.
I ask for at least 6 months minimum stay, as we will switch the lease from my name to include your name and my roommate's name. So longer stays are preferred.
If you wanted to start moving some things in December, I am happy to let you store things in the room before I move out in January.
