Queer WG looking for a roomie in 1160 Vienna

The flat is located in a very convenient location in the 16th close to gurtel, between Thaliastrasse U and Burgasse/Stadthalle U. Brunnenmarkt is just around the corner and many local shops and cuisins that give a full taste of the 16th districts diversity. A convenient Spar is right under us, with Billa sround the corner and Dm just 5 min walk away. The apartment is on Koppstrasse but get no street noise since we're on top and in the back of the building. The flat is soaked with plenty of sun, which is a plus for you plant lovers and a good way to keep warm in the winter.

We’d love our WG to be a comfortable place that we can call home, somewhere that we can all spend time together but not being codependant of each other. It would be great to create a place in which we can rest, have fun, care for each other, be silly, but also be able to just go to our room if any one of us needs space (no hard feelings).
We’d like to live with someone who understands what its like to live in an environment with neurodivergent and ethnic people, how weird we can be.
We are NOT a nudist flat, but both of us like to be comfy with each other being naked or in underwear all the time (especially - as its a DG flat, it will get very hot in summer). It’s important to us to get to know and support each other in a way, in which we can communicate honestly and openly about our needs, wishes and feelings about our shared home. We also share a strong passion for dancing and music which will probably take place in the living room, Hovig has plenty of records and a piano. Kem has a nice TV and a PS4 with some sweet games. We're neither gamers not musicians but we enjoy those elements in our life.


About Us:

Hovig ( 30) Non Binary (they/them+falafel/hummus) is ethnically Armenian, from Canada, has lived abroad for a while and inVienna for the last 5 years. They are currently working full time at Swing Kitchen as a Restaurantleiter*in and is always in and out of the flat. When there, they do enjoy hanging out with others, cooking dinner, having a drink or talking and laughing/being silly. On days they are tired, they might just go sleep. They enjoy spending time with Koko when she's around. On their free time, Hovig also enjoys going dancing, socialising to whatever capacity they are capable and as well.they are into music and would like to go more in the scene but currently sticking to enjoying good music. They are Armenian and love to share about their culture and anything related to it. Hilarious, cute, annoying.


Kem is white and trans (he/they), selbstständig, but in Langzeitkrankenstand. He likes his alone time in their room as well as community time together. Also he's a little gaming nerd and most of the times playful and fun to be around. Right now they're into ceramics a lot and want to explore the night life of vienna again. Outside of the flat you meet them in the gym, in a park or in a café.

We like to cook and eat together and share all the necessities and food in the flat. A clean place is important to us, but we’re not too strict about it being a tidy ass flat 24/7.

As we move in ourselves in the middle of june, theres a markler Provision we paid. It would be great to talk about a potential financial Support for us to pay the Provision, if your ressources allow it.
