The room is in a nice big shared flat with 4 people. The room is next to the living room, so you should not be too noise sensitive. It is furnished and you have the possibility to take over all the furniture. The rest of the flat is fully equipped. We have two bathrooms, you will share yours with Matias. Because of the stairs to our nice rooftop terrace the room has a slope on one side (see pictures).
We have underfloor heating in the whole flat.
Rent prices are in CHF.
The flat is located next to Zehntenhausplatz. It is a 5 minute walk to the train station Affoltern, Coop is 1 minute away and the next Migros 5 minutes. There is also a turkish food store nearby (3 minutes).
By bike you can reach the Katzensee within 10 minutes and have a swim. Nearby is also the forest for jogging.
We are two PhD students (Heidi and Matias) and one employed person (Christoph). Flat mate number 4, Tim, is moving out to study in US and A. Official language in our flat is English, but we are all able to speak German.
We spend a lot of time on our rooftop terrace or in our nice cozy couch area in the living room when it is not warm enough to be outside. We often have guests over. The life in the flat is pretty relaxed, we have a good cleaning system and are all uncomplicated people.
We rarely use the balcony (with a rooftop terrace, why would you?) for activities. But you could use it for plants.
We are looking for someone who is ideally working, doing a PhD or similar.
