Da ich von Februar bis Juli 2023 ein Auslandssemester mache, steht mein Zimmer für diese Zeit zur Verfügung. Bei dem Zimmer handelt sich um ein ca. 20 m2 großes, helles und ruhiges Zimmer mit angrenzend 10 m2 privater Dachterrasse und Blick auf den Zürchersee im 4. Stock hier im wunderschönen 8. Kreis in Zürich.
Die WG befindet sich in einem Studentenhaus, welches von der Universität Zürich subventioniert wird (deswegen auch der günstige Preis). Die Küche, sowie den Essbereich würdest du dir mit 13 super lieben Mitbewohnern teilen. Es gibt zwei Herdplatten, drei Kühlschränke und eine Menge Schubladen. Platz ist also genug da und es sind auch meistens nicht viele Leute die gleichzeitig in der Küche sind. ;) Im Haus gibt es zusätzlich noch ein Gym, ein Foyer mit Beamer, eine große Waschküche mit neuen Waschmaschinen/Trocknern und eine gemeinsame große Dachterrasse mit Grill. Das Bad würdest du dir nur mit einer Person teilen. In der Gegend ist es ruhig, da es einige Krankenhäuser in der Nähe gibt. Es handelt sich um eine sehr grüne Gegend mit vielen Möglichkeiten in der Natur zu spazieren oder einfach zu chillen.

Since I'm doing a semester abroad from February to July 2023, my room is available for this time. The room is an 20 m2 large, bright and quiet room with an adjoining 10 m2 private roof terrace and a view of Lake Zurich on the 4th floor here in the beautiful 8th district in Zurich.
The flat is located in a student house, which is subsidized by the University of Zurich (hence the low price). You would share the kitchen and the dining area with 13 super nice roommates. There are two burners, three fridges and plenty of drawer space. So there is enough space and there are usually not many people in the kitchen at the same time. ;) In the house there is also a gym, a foyer with a projector, a large laundry room with new washing machines/dryers and a large shared roof terrace with a barbecue. You would only share the bathroom with one person. The area is quiet as there are some hospitals nearby. It is a very green area with many opportunities to take a walk in the nature or just chill.
5 Gehminuten vom Haus entfernt befindet sich die Tram-Haltestelle Balgrist, bei der du sehr gut angebunden bist. In 7 Minuten bist du im Zentrum bist und in 15 Minuten bei der Uni oder auch der ETH. Mit dem Tram brauchst du nur 15 Minuten direkt an den See und mit dem Fahrrad sind es sogar nur 5 Minuten.

A 5-minute walk from the house is a tram station, where you are very well connected and can be in the center in 7 minutes, as well as in 15 minutes at the university or ETH. Within 15 Minutes by tram you can reach the Lake. By bike you can even make it in 5 minutes.
Die WG besteht aus sehr netten und hilfsbereiten Leuten. Es handelt sich nicht um eine Zwecks-WG, sondern um eine große Familie. Das heißt wir unternehmen auch gerne Dinge zusammen (Volleyball, Skifahren, im See schwimmen, Kaffee trinken gehen) oder grillen gemeinsam im Sommer auf der gemeinsamen Dachterrasse und genießen den Sonnenuntergang. In dieser WG findest du bestimmt Freunde fürs Leben. Natürlich ist ein Sinn für Sauberkeit in einer großen WG unerlässlich. Wenn du entspannt bist und auch gerne mal das eine oder andere Bier oder Weinglas mittrinkst, wird dir diese WG super gefallen.

You will share the apartment with lovely, helpful and upfront roommates. It is not a purpose-based flat share, but a large family. That means we also like to do things together (volleyball, skiing, swim in the lake, go for a coffee) or have a barbecue together on the large roof terrace in summer and enjoy the sunset. You will definitely find friends for life in this flat share. Of course, a sense of cleanliness is essential in a large flat share like this one. If you're relaxed and like to have a beer or glass of wine with us, you'll love this flat and the people in it.
