PhD Researcher and German Language Tutor Searching For a 2-Bedroom Flat

My friend and I are looking for a 2-bedroom flat in Berlin.

We've been living together in Moabit for 1 year, but unfortunately our landlord has to move back at the end of April and we need to find a new place. We are open to both short-term (at least 2 months) and long-term (+6 months) options, as long as the flat has at least 2 rooms that we can use as bedrooms :)

Briefly about us: I'm a PhD researcher in Political Science at the Free University of Berlin & hold a seminar on "Deepening and Enlargement of EU Integration" for Bachelor students. For my research, I receive a monthly scholarship from the DAAD programme, which also covers part of my rental costs.

My flatmate is studying a Master's programme in "German as a Foreign Language: Cultural Studies" at the same university as me. She teaches German to FU students. She has also been working in customer service for the German company "Triple A Internetshops" for 3 years.

Nini and I are good childhood friends & really enjoy living together. Nini always cleans the flat (it's her hobby :D ) and I like to cook. So we can assure that we will look after your flat as if it was our own. If needed, we would also be happy to provide a letter of recommendation from our current landlord.

As far as the flat is concerned, it is very important for us that it has 2 bedrooms and a living room (or a large kitchen) where we can spend cosy evenings.

mit einer Freundin von mir suchen wir eine 2-Schlafzimmer-Wohnung in Berlin.

Wir wohnen schon seit 1 Jahr zusammen in Moabit, aber leider muss unser Vermieter am Ende März zurückziehen.

Kürz über uns:

Ich mache Phd im Fachbereich Politikwissenschaft an der Freien Universität Berlin. Daneben halte ich ein Seminar "Vertiefungs- und Erweiterungsperspektiven der EU-Integration" für Bachelor-Studenten. Für meine Forschung erhalte ich monatlich das Stipendium von DAAD-Programm, das auch einen Teil meiner Mietkosten abdeckt.

Meine Mitbewohnerin studiert Masterprogramm "Deutsch als Fremdsprache: Kulturvermittlung" an derselben Universität wie ich. Sie unterrichtet FU-Studenten deutsche Sprache. Daneben arbeitet Sie schon seit 3 Jahren im Kundenservice für deutsche Firma "Triple A Internetshops".

Wir beiden kennen uns schon seit unserer Kindheit und sind gute Freunde. Nini macht die Wohnung immer sauber (es ist Ihr Hobby :D ) und ich koche gerne. Dementsprechend kümmern wir uns um Ihre Wohnung so wie um eigene.

Gerne würden wir auch ein Empfehlungsschreiben unseres Vermieters zur Verfügung stellen.

Was der Wohnung angeht, ist für uns sehr wichtig, dass sie 2 Schlafzimmer und ein Wohnzimmer (oder große Küche) enthält, wo wir abends Zeit gemütlich verbringen können.
