Because the room is part of a shared flat, you will be living together with other tenants that may be swapped out over time. However, when searching for new residents, I always accommodate for the wishes of existing tenants.

On top of that, there are also various bus lines available. The famous 'Kurfürstendamm.' is within walking distance.
The lakes and woods of the Grunewald are easily accessible by public transport or bicycle.
And luckily here is not the crowded party area of Friedrichshain with noise until the morning.
And if someone owns a car, this is a district of Berlin, where it is still pleasant to drive it.
The apartment has enough space to enable privat and community life as well.

Sharing this apartment could be something in between purpose sharing and community life
depending on your personal wishes.
The actual residents are qualified students or professionals and have different nationalities.
Because of the excellent quality of the flat, I am looking for clean and orderly tenants that are able to treat it carefully.
It's a nonsmoking apartment and animals like dogs and cats are not permitted.
