The room available for rent is part of a completely modernized six room apartment with the flair of the art nouveau of 1905. The apartment is fully equipped with cottage furniture and the room has its own balcony.
Because the room is part of a shared flat, you will be living together with other tenants that may be swapped out over time. However, when searching for new residents, I always accommodate for the wishes of existing tenants.
Despite that, you do not have to worry about your privacy. Private rooms can be locked, and a forty square meter common living room and the kitchen provide enough space to meet for community activities.
The kitchen offers plenty of storage in over 9 meters of wall units, is fully equipped and has a bar counter.
The apartment is situated in a quiet and safe area, a perfect living environment two-hundred meters away from the beautiful 'Ludwigkirchplatz.' Supermarkets, cafes, restaurants and bakeries are available on foot.
Three minutes away the subway station 'Hohenzollernplatz' provides access to the lines U2 and U3 and the rest of the city.
On top of that, there are also various bus lines available. The famous 'Kurfürstendamm.' is within walking distance.
The lakes and woods of the Grunewald are easily accessible by public transport or bicycle.
And luckily here is not the crowded party area of Friedrichshain with noise until the morning.
The apartment has enough space to enable privat and community life as well.
The living room and the large kitchen gives room to meet each other
and the private rooms are fully equipped and lockable.
Sharing this apartment could be something in between purpose sharing and community life
depending on your personal wishes.
The actual residents are qualified students or professionals and have different nationalities.
Because of the excellent quality of the flat, I am looking for clean and orderly tenants that are able to treat it carefully.
It's a nonsmoking apartment and animals like dogs and cats are not permitted.
