Hallo zusammen,

ENGLISH VERSION
---------------------------------------------------------
Heya,
given that the second room will become available shortly, here's to a new round! ;) Theoretically, the room is available starting December 1st, but if you wanted to move in January 1st or a bit later, that's fine as well. Whatever is best for you!
The basics are as follows:
The room is 11 square meters and is cut in an almost quadratic fashion. It is, once again, unfurnished. Price in total (including ancillary costs, internet (200 mbit/s! woo!)) is 440 Euros. (Munich, what are you gonna do.) The ceiling is high enough for you to hang lamps at a height that does not inconvenience tall flatmates 😉 For more on the room, see the pictures, though keep in mind that the room will look a lot more empty without furniture.
The flat has everything you might desire for a harmonious coexistence (fridge, a dishwasher, a washing machine, a proper kitchen, bathtub, etc.).
There is no transfer fee, but the security deposit is 1092 €.
Smoking is NOT AN OPTION anywhere in the flat. Seriously.
The flat is located in the Würmseestraße, about 5 minutes away from the U3 station Forstenrieder Allee. The subway needs exactly 18 minutes to get to the LMU proper or 15 minutes to get to Marienplatz. It leaves every 10 minutes (every 5 minutes during traffic hours, at night it will stop around 1 am).
All necessary shopping facilities (DM, Penny, Rewe, etc.) are reachable by foot, as well as pharmacies and whatever else you might desire.
In spite of the good accessibility, one has to admit we are NOT located in the city centre. So if you wanna bike to university, you'd better be prepared for 30-40 minutes of treading. The advantage, though, is that it's nice and quiet out here and you'll always find a parking spot ;)
A few words about me: I'm 30 and I have just finished my PhD at LMU, where I also work. So if you need the inside track on the LMU, I'm your guy ;) If I'm not busy at work, you'll find me swimming, bouldering (twice a week, bonus points if you were to join!) or teaching martial arts. I'll tell you more if and when we meet up ;)
What do I expect from you? Well, in short: you should bring along some experience in life and in sharing a flat. I am, at this point, quite far from my first semester, and if you’re looking for someone to introduce you to the Munich clubbing scene, you’d probably best look on. I do know some excellent bars, though! Bonus points are available if you're into bouldering, cooking and are generally a non-boring person. I'll let you surprise me ;) If you'd like to include a photo or a social media link for stalking purposes with your message, that'd be welcome too.
In terms of life in the flat: we have a pretty well-equipped kitchen that you definitely should be using. I'd be happy if we managed to cook together occasionally (especially since I absolutely suck at cooking for one person). In general, the size of the flat is not especially suitable for avoiding each other. So it's important for you to open your mouth if something's bothering you. Cleanliness shouldn't be a word that makes you open a dictionary, but the plan to establish it is relatively easy to remember and implement: vacuum once a week (hall, kitchen, bathroom), clean the bathroom once a week, with those two tasks being rotated among us on a weekly basis.
In terms of supplies and so on, so far we've handled it by dividing the fridge (left|right), but sharing all other food stuff (spices, noodles, rice, etc.) and consumables (toilet paper, soap, etc.). If you notice something's close to running out, buy a new one. That should work without taking extra accounting classes ;)
In general, due to the size and position of the flat, it is unsuitable for a super-party-flat. So if you're looking for somewhere to party every day, please look on. The occasional exception is fine, of course ;) While we're at it, people with political affinities right of the CSU or right of the Republicans, if such a thing is still possible, militant vegan missionaries or militant missionaries of any kind may also feel free to close this tab. I'm looking forward to hearing from everyone else =)
And those of you who kindly read everything up to this point may feel free to include the codeword ‘Lagavulin’ at the start of their messages for a small bonus point ;)
I’ll probably invite you to look at the flat soonish if you can. Please understand that if you don’t receive a reply from me, it’s not because I think you’re super boring or a bad person, but it’s because I expect to be flooded with requests like last time. My day only has 24 hours as well.
