I am leaving my 40sqm one room flat as I am moving away from Berlin. The flat is located in a charming Altbau in the heart of Friedrichshain. It's a one-room apartment, with separate bathroom and kitchen. The flat is equipped with everything you need. The room has a nice home office area, full length mirror and a very comfortable mattress. There's also a good sound system to satisfy all your party needs.
The kitchen is probably my favourite space. It's very well equipped and pretty big for a flat of this size. There's a full size fridge and plenty of storage space, so you can start doing quarterly meal planning. It's also well equipped - so if you love cooking as much as I do, you've come to the right place. The kitchen also comes with a bunk bed. I don't use it much, but if you have friends coming over (and they're feeling brave), they can sleep there. The bathroom comes with a bathtub where you can relax after a hard day.
The building itself is very quiet and the neighbours have been super friendly and helpful in the past.
The flat is located in the heart of Friedrichshain and it's super close to public transport. The closest stop is the M10 tram at Bersarinplatz. You can also reach the S-Bahn (Storkower Str.) in 10m walking. The U-Bahn at Frankfurter Tor is 10m walking, or you can take the tram 1 stop to get there.
The area immediately nearby is very quiet and residential, but you're not far from all the cool lively bars of Friedrichshain. For groceries, there are several Spätis right outside. In 10m, you can reach large shopping area with several big supermarkets, a Rossmann, hardware shop, and plenty of other stuff.
The 775 rent is inclusive of everything - heating, electricity and fast internet. I will also ask for a deposit of 500 euros, which I will return to you at the end of the sublet period
