This 64 sqm non-smoking apartment with lots of natural lighth, a nice balcony, a long hallway, high stucco ceilings and wooden floors in the living room/bedroom is located on the 1st floor of an old apartment building in the immediate vicinity of Körnerpark in Berlin Neukölln. It is a 2-room apartment, but the smaller, 10 square meter room is not part of your rental.
You'll live in a tastefully furnished apartment: you have a separate, naturally lit, spacious living/bedroom with wooden floor and balcony as well as a 1.40 m wide double bed (with new mattresses and new mattress toppers) and a chest of drawers at your disposal. In here, you also have a cozy living room couch, which can be pulled out for sleeping as needed. Also, a workstation / desk with WiFi is provided, as well as a high-resolution flat screen TV and a hi-fi music system.
The perfectly equipped kitchen has about everything you need in a modern kitchen and is equipped with ceramic hob/electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, filter coffee maker, kettle, a large refrigerator, and all necessary accessories, as well as seating area for dining and sitting together.
The well-maintained bathroom has a toilet, bidet, hairdryer and a bathtub, which can also be converted into a shower by means of a retractable partition. In addition, a clothes rack, a laundry bin, a closet, an iron, an ironing board and a washing machine are also part of the overall equipment of the apartment. Bathroom and kitchen utensils, towels, spices, coffee and tea are also available if desired.
The rental property has a landscaped courtyard with parking space for your bicycle.
I live abroad, so the whole apartment (except the small room) is for your sole use. Only in the rare occasions when I come home to Berlin you will have me as a short-term roommate.
In the beautiful Körnerkiez, quiet side street, centrally located: The location is brilliant because of the proximity to the Körnerpark! Because the Körnerkiez in Berlin Neukölln enjoys great popularity especially in recent years and is experiencing an increased influx of young people, students, artists and new Berliners. The property is centrally located not far from Karl-Marx-Strasse and Hermannstrasse, within a closed street, within walking distance of the Neuköllner Tor shopping center. The distance to the city- west (Breitscheidplatz) is about 8 km, to the city east (Alexanderplatz) about 6 km.
The Tempelhofer Feld, which is located in the immediate vicinity, can be reached on foot within 12 minutes. Due to the extremely attractive residential location, various bars, cafés, restaurants, snack bars, galleries, supermarkets, drugstores, doctors and public transport connections can be reached within a few minutes: The S + U stations Neukölln and Hermannstraße (Ringbahn (S41 and S42), the S-Bahn lines S45, S46, S47 and the U-Bahn line U7 and U8 ) are only 3 and 5 minutes walk, respectively. Bus line 171 runs from S+U Neukölln directly to BER Airport - Terminal 5, Schönefeld. Furthermore, there is a good connection to the Berlin city highway, the junction Britzer Damm of the A 100 is about 350 m away.
The apartment has only 1 bedroom and is therefore only suitable for single people or couples (without children). The apartment is rented to a maximum of 2 persons, registration is possible. Bed linen and towels can be provided.
Cannabis use and other illicit drugs, smoking and animals are not allowed in the apartment!
