Get the full Berlin experience through our private studio apartment. Our "Garden Room" sits on the ground floor of an old Wilhelmenian building from 1891 and comes with its own private bathroom and shower, kitchen, large bed, pull out couch bed for extra guests, bamboo writing desk and wireless internet included.
The internet and all of the utilities are included in the rent.
The apartment offers easy access to the center of Berlin. The Yorkstrasse S-Bahn and U-Bahn (train and subway) station is just 100 metres from the flat. You will be 2 stops away from Potsdamer Platz, 3 stops from the Brandenburger Gates (the national symbol of Germany right in the historic center of the city), and just 4 stops from Friedrichstrasse. We are also right next to the popular Kreuzberg district, filled with nice restaurants and tourist attractions.
There is also a local Turkish / Farmers street market just outside every Tuesday and Saturday where you can pick up fresh fruit and vegetables. If that doesn't fill your belly there are tons of lovely restaurants just around the corner. You are also just a short walk away from the "Alter St-Matthäus-Kirchhof" cemetery where you can visit the grave of the "Brothers Grimm", along with the Gleisdreieck Park and Victoria Park.
We also have a Literature Cafe and Creative Art Space that occationally offers events, gallery exhibitions, creative workshops, and performances but which is currently shut down because of the Corona lockdown in Berlin. It would be lovely to hear from you.
