One-room furnished apt for visiting professor six months

I am looking for a one (possibly 2) room apartment for myself near the university to rent until the end of February. I am a visiting scientist doing research at the Human Technology Center (HumTec). During this period I am leaving my own home in the care of someone else, so I know how important it is to find a responsible tenant! I speak English and Portuguese and will be trying to learn some German, but for now I understand very little. I am 67 years old, and will be spending most of my time in the laboratory or reading and writing. I am therefore looking preferably for a quiet place, preferably with a view of some trees, but that is only my dream. I am a non-smoker, mostly vegetarian, with simple eating habits. I am already in Aachen, camping out on a colleague's couch, and will be available at any time for a visit.
