We're subletting our cute apartment as we'll be traveling for five and a half weeks from February 7th until March 17th.
As it's only a short-term sublet it's most suitable for people visiting Berlin, doing an internship, a creative break or for people that are looking for a temporary solution because they're just moving to Berlin and they need a little more time to visit apartments here and find a long-term contract.
Now, the apartment:
40m2 sized bright 1 room flat with
- entrance area with coat hooks and storage for shoes
- a big and fully-equipped kitchen including a big fridge, freezer, toaster, washing machine, coffee maker, etc. The kitchen is a separate room with a door (so no food smell when you go to bed)
- a cosy daylight bathroom with a toilet, shower and shelfs for storage
- a big room with a huge bed, sofa, wardrobe and storage space for your clothes and things, plants, etc.
- a cute balcony with a chair and table
All rooms have big windows and, therefore, you'll have enough light (if Berlin winter permits).
This is a non-smoker apartment but if you want to smoke feel free to go on the balcony and fill your lungs with some fresh air (next to the smoke).
Price: The rent above is the total for the whole period of five and a half weeks. The deposit will be returned to you after your stay.
The flat is located in Lenbachstraße that is 5 minutes by walk from Ostkreuz. It's in the back of the building and, that's why, it's quiet even though it's well-located and close to bars and restaurants.
It's also well connected by public transportation (different train/ S-Bahn connections to the centre/ central train station as well as the airport but also the Ringbahn), there's also different tram lines and busses in walking distance. So, where ever you need to go, you'll be quick.
Apart from that there are lots of supermarkets nearby (a bio market that is also open on Sundays, Lidl, Rewe, Kaufland, Edeka, etc.) as well as lots of bars and restaurants. Boxhagener Platz is only 10 minutes by walk - each Saturday there's a cute market and on Sundays you can go to the flea market.
And if you feel like going out, there are also several clubs nearby.
Just to sum up the most important points:
We're looking for one person or a couple that will rent the apartment from us, preferably for the whole period but feel free to contact us if that's not possible for you.
The whole rent for the entire period is 750€. The deposit will be returned to you after your stay (it's simply a safety for us in case something gets damaged).
This is a non-smoker apartment but you can smoke outside on the balcony.
