Dear person on the apartment hunt,
I sublet my beloved place in the heart of Friedrichshain, 1 min walk to Boxi.
Initially for 3 month with the possibility to extend.
Apartment:
I built a walk-in closet under the bed and also used it as storage for the desk. It’s a standing desk (adjustable) with wheels so you max flex while telecommuting. Feel free to use my screen.
The kitchen is a no-frills kitchen. I ended up hardly cooking for myself due to the overwhelming choice at your doorstep. It’s equipped with all essentials though (including a washing machine)
The bathroom has a bathtub.

You’ll find more restaurants, yoga studios, and clubs within walking distance than you can possibly try within the months. Challenge excepted?
The apartment is in the second side wing and very quiet. The huge chestnut tree in the courtyard adds to the oasis feeling. REWE, Aldi, Bio Denns, DM, Rossmann, bakeries etc are all within comfortable walking distance.

Finance:
The cost is all inclusive (internet, utility, Rundfunkgebuehr, heating etc).
If you are a refugee (from anywhere!) and can’t afford the rent at this point, let me know and we will find
a solution.
I will not keep a deposit for furniture etc as I trust you will treat this place like your own.
Due to the high uncertainty of energy costs, I’ll keep a deposit of 100 €. The price has been adjusted already and if you consume the same energy as in the previous year, the deposit should not be required.
I also keep a 50 € deposit for cleaning. If the apartment is clean after your departure, you'll get it back immediately.
