The room is in a student accommodation, The FIZZ Berlin (https://www.the-fizz.com/en/student-accommodation/berlin/), a community oriented accommodation with plenty of communal spaces (lobby, study room, communal kitchen and clubhouse). You must be a student, trainee or intern to live there. Washing machines and dryers are available for use by tenants and a bike storing facility is provided in the basement.
Situated in the lively neighbourhood of Kreuzberg, very well connected: 8 minutes walk from the U8 station Heinrich-Heine-Strasse, 13 minutes walk from Ostbahnhof and Kottbusser Tor stations and many bus stops in close proximity, easy and fast access to the universities and MuseumInsel especially. The area has many restaurants, bars and is close to some of Berlin's most famous clubs, as well as housing many artist collectives.
I am looking for someone (a student, trainee or intern) to take over my contract as I cannot return to Berlin this year due to the pandemic.
Alternatively, I am open to subletting the flat until April, as this is also a possibility allowed by The Fizz.
