One room flat for a couple that is arriving on the 1st of January

Dear Mr/Ms,

Me and my partner (Elena Lukinykh) are pursuing an international masters degree. We are moving to Berlin on the 1st of January to conduct our research there. Therefore, we are searching for a fully furnished one room flat in the city of Berlin. Also, we are looking for a short term contract (preferably two-three months) so that we will be searching for another apartment to rent for a longer period of time after settling in the city. The reason why we are searching for a short term rent is because it is problematic to find a long term contract while living abroad.

Also, we are both non-smokers and "cleaning freaks". So we will surely take care of your apartment during your absence. We are not fans of partying either so you or your neighbors do not have to worry about us hosting events at your place!
The only problem is that we won't be able to meet you in person before the new years eve as we both live abroad (I live in Norway and she is currently in Slovenia), but we can both arrange a Skype chat with you to get to know each other more.

We both have German bank accounts as we did the first term of our studies in Oldenburg (North Germany) so we could transfer the deposit and the rent once the contracts are ready.
