The apartment is on the ground floor with a lovely view on a small garden. The building represents a refined and classy example of a traditional Berliner housing block from the early 30th century. The common spaces, including the inner courtyard, are well maintained. The 35m² are distributed through a small corridor that gives access to the kitchen, the bathroom and the living room.
My apartment is simple and practical, but well equipped. The apartment is ideal for one person or a couple to enjoy a good time in Berlin and it is also a perfect and quiet place to work and study. In the living/bedroom there is a sofa that can be folded down into a sofa bed (1.40) and a double bed (1.40m). Fast internet is available via WiFi and LAN.
The workplace can be used with your own notebook and my PC monitor, mouse, keyboard and inkjet printer. My apartment is a non-smoking apartment, but you are welcome to smoke with the window open or with subsequent ventilation.
Weißensee is a part of Pankow with a rather quite neighborhood in northern Berlin. Just a short walk from my flat is Lake Weissensee and very close by is the large and beautiful Jewish cemetery, which are both perfect for a little walk.
Since Berlin has a pretty good public transport network, you can get almost anywhere in Berlin within 30 minutes, including all the famous sites. And Prenzlauer Berg and Wedding are just a 10 min by public or a short bike ride away.
There are several supermarkets in walking distance. Also there are coffeeshops/bakeries around the corner and two late night shops in the intersecting road.
