The room is ca. 3 x 7m^2 (including bath). It is located on the 3rd floor and looks towards the west towards a large courtyard, which means it has lots of light during the afternoon / evening and no traffic noise.
The room also has a separate, modern 2 x 2 m^2 bath.
Kitchen is shared.
A bus stop of Stiftsplatz is located within approx. 5 min walking distance from the building.Also within 5 min walking distance is a tram station (Wilhelmsplatz), from which Bonn main station can be reached in 5-10 mins.
Walking distance to the Hauptbahnhof is 25 mins, and to the city center 15 mins.
The Nordstadt is not Bonn’s most affluent neighborhood, but certainlyone of the more colorful and vibrant ones: Around “Breite Straße” and "Heerstraße” the “Old city” of Bonn is located (which is actually not
the same as the city center). The old city offers several nice places for going out and having a beer. Into the other direction, the Rhine
river is a 5 min walk away, which is great for getting outdoors.
Netto, Aldi, and Rewe are also within walking distance, and so are turkish and vietnamese shops as well as several (tasty) options for
having dinner. All these are located around Kölnstraße. There is also a laundry shop right across the street.
Furniture includes table, clothes rack, tea table reclining chair, small fridge, vaccum cleaner, two multipurpose racks, clothes hanger in the bathroom and bedding

The company that owns the building puts some effort into keeping it in a good shape, e.g. recently putting new paint on the walls or installing new fridges, and keeping everything (relatively) clean. A contact person
from the company is, in my experience, friendly and responsive. Their long-term goal is to turn the place into a student’s house, but
currently the tenants are mixed with all kind of backgrounds. Neighbors are very friendly.
