This is a fully furnished, non-smoking apartment with bed, high-quality system furnishing, practical pantry kitchen and modern bathroom with your own shower and lavatory. It is a bright studio apartment. One side is glass and gives you a good view of the sky and some trees. It can be covered by a tall dark curtain if you want to block the light out. The apartment is at the back-side of the multi-storey building, relatively away from the main street. In the kitchen, there is a microwave oven, an electronic stove, and a refrigerator. You can use my kitchen utensils as well.
The storage space is built in. Some of my things will remain but I will make sufficient space for your clothing and kitchen materials. There is also a storage space underneath the bed which will be empty so you can use the full space. The bed is single-sized. It would be great if you can bring your own beddings (e. g. pillow, blanket, sheets) but if you don't have these, let me know and I can make them available by request. Apartment internet and heating is included in the rent.
There is a washing machine and a dryer at the basement. A fee applies for every use. There is also a bike storage which is kept locked and can be accessed with your key. The Fizz Management Office (the company that manages the building) is open from Monday to Friday and if you are expecting a parcel but are not around, they can receive the delivery for you.
When you go out of the apartment door, you find the balcony where you have a view of the trees and the shared green space. Please note though that this balcony is not exclusively yours and may be used by others in the building. The balcony has a table and two benches. In the building there are large, shared kitchens for those who want to cook with friends and dine together. There is also a large and shared study area where there is internet connection.
I would like to have someone who can rent the place from 1 November 2019 to 31 March 2020 but if your stay is for a shorter duration within these dates, let me know and we can try a different arrangement.
Since I will be away on a trip starting 1 November, it would be really nice if I meet the prospective renter prior to my departure.
The apartment is very conveniently located right next to the university and the Bremen Technology Park. There is a bus stop and a tram stop right in front of the building. Tram routes are directly connected to the Bremen Central Train Station and the Bremen Airport. Bus routes also go directly to the city center. By bike, it takes 18 minutes to get to the city center.
Very near the building, about 2 minutes walk, you'll find an Aldi, a cafe (there's another one a couple hundred meters away), and a bio (organic) market. Since it's only a few minutes by foot from the campus, you'll have access to various campus amenities such as the mensa (cafeteria), bookshop, town registration, and other services. The very lovely Burgerpark is only 8 minutes walk away and there you can dine at the Haus am Walde which has a lovely ambience and great food. The Stadtwaldsee is about 15-minutes away by foot.
