About the area
As with all flats located in downtown Budapest, there are plenty of must-see sights within 10 minute walking distance: St. Stephen’s Basilica is closest, but once you’re there it’s just a few steps toward the Danube and the Chain Bridge. The city center (Deák tér) is also near. From here you can easily reach our major shopping street (Váci utca) or walk down Andrássy út to the Opera House – try to take a tour of this beautiful building, you won’t be disappointed. Take Metro line 1 – the first underground on the continent – to Hero’s square, which is practically an open air history book. The square marks the entrance to Városliget (City Park), home of Vajdahunyad Castle, Budapest Zoo, and the Széchenyi Spa.

Transportation
Deák tér, the city center is close by, from there you can easily reach any chosen destination. Tram 47, 49 ride all the way to the south of Buda, bus no. 16 takes you to Buda. The first three metro lines cross here, take any of them to reach other major means of transportation, such as tramline 4-6 or suburban railways.
