Looking for a room or studio in Darmstadt

I am a male student in Tilburg University (Netherlands), 24 years old, and will do an internship in Darmstadt (preferably within 2.5 km from the city center). So I am interested in renting a room or studio apartment from 24.12.2012 (negotiable) till at least July 2013 or maybe longer.
Originally from Ukraine, I am an Erasmus Mundus master student, and I am studying computer science. I lived in Germany before for 1 semester, but in Stuttgart.
Ideally I want to find a small studio apartment with my own kitchen, fridge and bathroom, fully furnished. But if you can propose a room in a shared flat with good quiet neighbors, I can be interested as well. I don't smoke and don't organize parties at home, and economically use electricity, gas etc.
A garage for a bike would be a nice addition too.
Please excuse me for English, but I don't know German quite well yet.
