Bei der Wohnung handelt es sich um ein Apartment im Wohnheim Hufelandstraße des Studentenwerks Hannover (mehr Bilder und Informationen gibt es auch auf der Webseite des Studentenwerks).
Die Wohnung hat eine kleine Küchenzeile mit zwei Herdplatten, einer Spüle, einem Kühlschrank und Schränken, die durch eine Tür vom Wohnbereich abgetrennt ist. Im kleinen, wie ich finde wirklich schönem Bad gibt es eine Dusche und einen großen Spiegel zusätzlich zur üblichen Ausstattung.
Der Wohnbereich selbst ist etwa 13qm groß. Möbliert ist das Zimmer mit einem großen Kleiderschrank, einem Regal, einem Bücherschrank, einem Schreibtisch mit Stuhl, einem Bett und einem Schreibtischcontainer.
Das komplette Gebäude, sowie die Außenanlagen wurden 2012 renoviert. In dem Apartment, um das es geht, war ich der erste Mieter nach der Renovierung.

I am offering an apartment in the dorm "Hufelandstraße". Additional information and pictures are available on the website of the Studentenwerk Hanover.
The apartment provides a small kitchen with a fridge, sink, a few cupboards and a stove and is in a seperate room. The small bathroom has a shower and a huge mirror above the sink.
The livingroom / bedroom (roughly 13 qm) is furnished with a wardrobe, additional storage space for books and similar things, a shelf, a desk with a chair and a bed.
The entire building and its inner courtyard were renovated in 2012.
Das Apartment liegt in Hannover Limmer. Zur nächsten Haltestelle der Stadtbahn (Wunstorfer Straße) benötigt man etwa 3 - 5 Minuten zu Fuß. Von dort aus ist man in 15 Minuten in der Innenstadt, in 20 Minuten an der FH am Ricklinger Stadtweg und in 20 Minuten an der Uni.
In der unmittelbaren Umgebung sind ein paar Restaurants und Cafés, sowie ein Penny, ein Bäcker und eine Packstation. In wenigen Minuten ist man an der Limmerstraße, wo mehr Supermärkte, aber auch Möglichkeiten zum Weggehen sind.

The apartment is located in Hanover Limmer, about 5 minutes from the next station, Wunstorfer Straße (line 10 and bus 700). With public transport, you will need 15 minutes to get to the city centre and 20 minutes to the FH Hanover or to university.
Close to the apartment you will find a few restaurants, a supermarket (Penny) and a bakery. Within a couple of minutes, you can reach the Limmerstraße, where you will find additional stores as well as nightlife.
Da es sich um ein Apartment des Studentenwerks handelt, muss der Mieter ein Student sein. Außerdem darf man nur maximal 3 Jahre in Wohnheimen des Studentenwerks wohnen.
Der Vertrag wird mit dem Studentenwerk geschlossen. Die angegebene Miete beinhaltet alle Nebenkosten, inklusive einer Internetverbindung per LAN-Kabel (Anmeldung nötig) über 5 GB innerhalb von 7 Tagen. Es ist aber auch problemlos nötig, sich einen eigenen DSL-Vertrag zu besorgen, das habe ich auch gemacht.
