Hello,
I am looking for a tidy person, non-smoker, preferably a female student to rent a small & quiet 1st floor apartment inside a tidy nice backyard building in a perfect location of the Heidelberg-Weststadt. A 5 minute walk gets you to Bismarckplatz and the Hauptbahnhof. The area hosts a large diversity of shops & markets and many restaurants. You can reach the university complex in 10 minutes by bicycle or take the Streetcar right from the platform in front of the house. You can park your bicycle inside a secured area.
As I, the landlord, am nearly deaf, i can only communicate via Smartphone message. You can use the number given in this advert for texting a message. Please refrain from calling, I won't understand you. I live 18 kilometers far away and can come over for a meeting within 30 - 40 minutes. You can text me in either german or in english.
The apartment has a separate shower and water closet and a kitchenette that offers you 2 cooking plates, refrigerator, tap & sink. The window faces to the south side, so it is sunny and bright, and absolutely quiet as it is separated from the busy street by the main building.
There is a bicycle racket inside the house's aisle for parking your bicycle.
It is only partially furnished - but I can offer to furnish it for free for you with some used stuff I am stocking. I could also supply you with a coffee maker or an Espresso machine. Just le me know your needs as I still have a lot of stuff. There is no washing machine however there are laundries within walking distance. Setting up a machine inside the apartment is not allowed. There is a Cable-TV connection but no TV set.
There is a telephone jack but out of use, you could activate it for yourself. Right outside the main house 15 meters at the corner there is the trendy Cafe/Lounge P2 with a public WiFi !
18 sqm might sound a bit smallish, however as the ceilings are very high, so it appears larger than it actually is. If you prefer to sleep in the roomside bed, you can use the platform as a stowaway place.
The total rent includes EVERYTHING. The electricity will remain in the landlord's name and is covered by the additional up to 40.- Euros per month. If you exceed this amount, you will have to top up. The additional costs of 60 Euros are a fixum and I will NOT draw up any end-of-period- bill. They include heating, the water bill, the housewarden service, the staircase lights and the trashbin fees. A security deposit of 500 Euros plus the upfront first month rent is required when you are moving in. The contract is for limited to two years and after this period you have the option for yearly renewals.
