Through the various exchange programmes such as ERASMUS, there is a colorful mix of German and foreign students who created a varied living together of countries on most of the floors. Here live German to English, Spanish, French, Poland and many other nationalities under one roof, which offers you the possibility to make international contacts.
Live together
The approx. 126 inhabitants live together on a total of 8 floors. There are 2 corridors with 8 rooms. They share a big kitchen, several toilets and two newly renovated showers. The kitchen and the sanitary facilities are cleaned daily by the cleaning staff, cooking utensils and dishes are available. Two washers and two dryers, which can be used by all residents are in the basement. Also a party cellar for private events is available.
After a 5 minutes walk, you are at the campus of the University of Hildesheim or at the bus station. From there, you can get easily to the HAWK Hildesheim and into the city. By bike, the HAWK is about 10 minutes away. The residence is situated very quietly. On the backside of the house, there is a forest to walk to. Right down the hill the Tonkuhle can be found, a small lake to relax at your leisure.
