More information about me

Dear homeowner,
Hope this message finds you well.

My name is Andrea, I'm a 27-year-old Italian guy currently pursuing my PhD in Biomedical Engineering. I am writing this request in the hope of finding suitable accommodation near the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) as I am here on an exchange program.

Talking a little about myself: basically, I consider myself a relaxed person who appreciates tranquility. In my free time, I like to watch films and TV series, take pleasant walks, and capture moments through photography. Despite my Italian roots, I'm not a big football fan, but I must confess that I have a talent for making delicious carbonara if the opportunity arises.

Unfortunately, I don't speak German, but I'm trying to learn at least the basics to be able to communicate my basic information either in places in case I go out to eat or not have to use Google Translate when I go to the supermarket.

I will dedicate the majority of my days to my academic activities, typically outside from 8 am to 6 pm. Considering this schedule, I am looking for accommodation that offers a quiet environment, ideally with amenities that complement a focused and comfortable study routine.

I am available for an in-person interview in case it is necessary and you deem it useful to select an ideal roommate with your expectations. If necessary I can obtain the SCHUFA (request now) to make you sure I'm a good payer. Thank you so much for taking the time to read my request. I am open to any options and eager to discuss further details. Your assistance in this matter is greatly appreciated and I look forward to the opportunity to contact you soon.

Best regards,

Andrea Pitzus
