KIT Chemieingenieurwesen und Verfahrenstechnik master student looking for a shared flat to stay from October 2020 to September 2021. Clean habits. Proficient in English and Mandarin.

My name is Cherie Hsu. I am from Taiwan. I am a second-year master student studying Chemieingenieurwesen und Verfahrenstechnik (Master) at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.

I am currently searching for a place to stay close to the KIT south campus. I am looking to start renting on November 1st. I will like to rent for 12 months. I am interested of the places in Innenstadt, Nordstadt, Oststadt, Südstadt, Südweststadt, Waldstadt, and Weststadt. I am looking for one-person apartment. However, I am open to the idea of living in a shared flat, as well. I am very familiar to the concept of sharing a flat with others. I have been living for 6 years in shared flat in New York of the United States during my bachelor degree. In Lisbon, Portugal, I also lived in a 9-people shared-flat during the first year of my master degree.

My budget is ranging between 300€ and 500€ per month. I have a Sperrkonto (blocked bank account) for student visa. The account is required to have a sufficient amount of monetary credit in order to cover the costs for the duration of my studies in Germany. I am a financially insured candidate for renting apartments.

I will like my room to be at least 12 square meters. I will like the apartment to have kitchen. If there are already furniture in the room, it will be optimal. If not, I can rent unfurnished apartment, as well. I will like to have a secure place to put my bike. I will be commuting to the university by bike every day. I do not smoke. I will prefer the apartment to not have smokers as well. I have no pet. I am not planning on getting a pet in the future, either.

My daily routine includes studying, doing research, cooking, exercising, and watching some movies. I am a fairly clean person. I will prefer a quiet living environment. I am a proficient English and Mandarin speaker.
