The apartment is one large room, with single bed, three seater sofa, storage (two bookcases, 5 shelves about 120cm wide), TV and the kitchen area. The kicthen has a fridge with freezer compartment, an oven with ceramic hob and a table / breakfast bar with two chairs, and washing machine. Bathroom has new large power shower, storage cabinate and towel rail. There is a triple wardrobe in the seperate entrance area.
The building is close to Barbarossa Platz and Zulphier Platz, only takes 2 minutes to walk to either stop. Bahnhof Sud is 5 - 10 minutes walk. The apartment is on a quite street with a restaurants and a kiosk. Rewe, Netto and Edeka are all two minute walk away. There is no parking with the aparetment, finding a parking space on the street would be difficult. There is a car park at the back but this belongs to one of the businesses, I do leave my bike there without any problems.

I have been living in Cologne for the past year and a half. I will be moving back to England on 11th May so the apartment will be available from 11th / 12th May. I can speak a little German so you can contact me in German. The landlord in English but his German is fluent. He owns many properties in Cologne. The contract would have three months notice but if you can find someone else to take the apartment the landlord will allow this. This is what I am trying to do!
In case you are new to Cologne/ Germany, I can transfer my current internet (20 euro / month) and electricity (37 euro / month) so you do not need to worry about setting this up.
