Die Wohnung ist 24qm groß und verfügt über einen breiten Flur (in dem der Kleiderschrank steht), ein modernes Bad mit Dusche und über einen Wohnraum, in dem sich eine sehr moderne und große Küchenzeile befindet. Highlight ist sicherlich der Balkon, der für die überschaubare Größe der Wohnung wirklich weiträumig ist.
Das Gebäude wurde 2013 errichtet und ich bin die zweite Mieterin. Dementsprechend ist die Wohnung unter anderem mit einer Fußbodenheizung ausgestattet. Meine Wohnung befindet sich im fünften Stock (Dachgeschoss) und lässt sich über einen Aufzug erreichen.
In der Wohnung befindet sich keine Waschmaschine, allerdings stehen im Keller Münzwaschmaschinen bereit. Einen Kellerraum habe ich ebenfalls – bei Bedarf kann hier Platz für Kleinigkeiten geschaffen werden. Einen überdachten Stellplatz für ein Fahrrad gibt es ebenfalls – und apropos Fahrrad: Da kannst du bei Bedarf gerne meins benutzen.

The apartment measures 24sq. and has a wide hallway (where you can also find the wardrobe), a modern and bright bathroom, and a living room with a very modern and large kitchen.
The building was built in 2013 and I am the second tenant. The apartment is equipped with floor heating. My apartment is on the fifth floor and can be reached by an elevator.
In the apartment, there is no washing machine, however in the cellar there are coin washing machines ready. I have a cellar room as well - if necessary, space for little things can be created here. A covered parking space for a bicycle is also available and if you want to, you can use my bike during your stay.
Meiner Meinung nach ist die Lage der Wohnung absolut perfekt: Ich selber studiere an der Universität zu Köln und erreiche das Hauptgebäude innerhalb von 5 Minuten mit dem Rad und nach 15 Minuten zu Fuß. Der Bahnhof Köln-Süd ist 5 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt; die nächste Haltestelle ist der Barbarossaplatz, der wiederum in 2 Minuten fußläufig zu erreichen ist. Durch die unmittelbare Nähe zum Barbarossaplatz sind also auch der nächste REWE, Kiosk, die Post, (…) nicht weit. Die Anbindung an den Rest der Stadt ist ebenfalls ideal.

The location of the apartment is absolutely perfect: University of Cologne’s main building can be reached within 5 minutes by bike and 15 minutes on foot. Cologne-Süd train station is a 5-minute walk away. The next stop is Barbarossaplatz, which can be reached in 2 minutes on foot. Due to the immediate proximity of Barbarossaplatz, there are various supermarkets in the area as well.
Wenn Du Interesse hast, dann freue ich mich, wenn Du mir in Deiner Mail ein paar Sätze zu Deiner Person erzählst, damit ich einen besseren Überblick über die Interessenten habe. Ich möchte die Wohnung nur an jemanden vermieten, der für den gesamten Zeitraum bleiben möchte und nicht vorzeitig auszieht – perfekt wäre also, wenn du Praktikant/-in o.ä. bist (das ist aber kein Muss).

If you are interested, please tell me a few sentences about yourself in your mail. I would further prefer to rent the apartment to someone who wants to stay for the whole period – so it would be perfect if you are an intern or equivalent (which is not a must however).
