Pasing is perhaps the most lively district of the Munich West. There's always something going on around the station and Marienplatz. Also for the shopping experience (e.g. Pasing arcaden, Viktualienmarkt in Pasing, the Gleichmannstasse zw. Station and Marienplatz) as well as culturally Pasing has a lot to offer. The residential area and the city park with its inviting, generous green areas are embossed for the cityscape. Legendary is the proverbial Pasinger self-confidence. Pasing is also referred to as “city in the city”, so many people - even today - see themselves first as “Pasinger” and then as “Munich”.

Über die DB-Hauptstrecke vom und zum Münchner Hauptbahnhof sowie die S-Bahn-Stammstrecke ist Pasing optimal angebunden. Am Pasinger Bahnhof halten viele S-Bahnen sowie zahlreiche Fernzüge, die in südlicher und westlicher Richtung unterwegs sind.
