More information about me

Dear Prospective Landlord,

I am a 24 year-old Finnish female PhD student at the Max Planck Institute of Neurobiology. I have been living in Munich since October 2013 (for an internship at the institute) and now selected to the PhD program. In my thesis work I am focusing on how neuronal circuits of emotions, such as fear and empathy, are controlled in the level of individual cells by calcium imaging and how we could therapeutically guide this circuit in psychiatric conditions towards a healthier state.
I am officially starting my thesis work from August, and so looking for an apartment for at least 3-4 years. I work very long days and usually continue from home in the evenings and on weekends, so I would like a peaceful place to live in. The Institute is in Martinsried, but I would love to live in / closer to the city, something along U6 would be perfect.
On my time off I go running, hiking, climbing and skydiving. Most optimally I would love to have a short distance to the main railway station for early morning trains, but also a nearby park for long runs. I do not smoke or play any instruments.
My current lease with the student housing will end in this month. I would be able to move in straight away, or in the beginning of August. If you would have something from September/October, I am also very interested to hear about and consider a short term solution for in between.

Would love to know more about your flat and hopefully see it! Let me know if there's anything more you would like to know about me for now!

Kind regards,
Aada
