Looking for a single room or shared flat in Nürnberg

Hello lovely German friends!

I am Yuna, 62 years old, and from Kharkiv in Ukraine.

I came to Nuremberg (the sister of Kharkiv) on September 10th, just about seven months after the start of this devastating war.

My 85-year-old mother and 60-year-old sister arrived in Nuremberg a few months earlier in March and they now live in an apartment which belongs to the social welfare office. Unfortunately, the settlement of new Ukrainian refugees in these flats has become an issue due to the high volume of requests as well as the limitations of the social welfare office. That's why I came to this website and placed a request for a room in a single or shared apartment.

Since further processing of my documents depends on having a registered address in Germany, I would really appreciate it if you could consider my request with the possibility of registering me with your address at Burgeramt. My next objective after settlement is finding a job and contributing to the society.

To tell you a bit more about myself, I am a retired engineer and know a little English. My mother tongue is Russian and Ukrainian and I am very determined to learn German. I love nature, sea, traveling, and animals (although I don't own any pets myself). I cook very well and enjoy company with people from different nationalities. I also smoke, but of course not inside the house as I don't intend to disturb the neighbors.
