Nach fünf Jahren Studium und einem Jahr Arbeit verlasse ich schweren Herzens meine Einzimmerwohnung in Stuttgart-Weilimdorf, wo ich wirklich sehr zufrieden war.
Die Wohnung ist 25 Quadratmeter groß, hat eine kleine Küchennische mit zwei Herdplatten und ein Bad mit Dusche. Außerdem gibt es ein Kellerabteil und einen Keller mit Waschmaschinenanschluss.
Das Vermieterpaar ist supernett und die Nachbarn auch, man hilft sich gegenseitig, wenn es mal ein Problem gibt.
Eine Stadtbahnhaltestelle ist nur drei Gehminuten entfernt und die u6 fährt alle zehn Minuten, in 16 Minuten ist man am Hauptbahnhof. Mit der u13 kommt man nach Cannstatt. Nachts fährt ein Nachtbus die gleiche Strecke. Lidl, Rewe, Penny, Bäcker, Apotheken und alles, was man sonst noch so braucht, sind am Löwen-Markt, also eine Haltestelle oder zehn Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Direkt um die Ecke ist ein kleiner Park und der Greutterwald, wo man ganz wunderbar spazieren, Fahrradfahren oder joggen kann. Man wohnt also im Grünen, ist aber schnell in der Innenstadt.
There's a tram stop just three minutes away. The u6 will take you to the city center within 16 minutes and at night there's a night bus going the same route. In Weilimdorf, you'll find grocery stores, drugstores, bakerys and all that good stuff a ten minute walk away. In the other direction there's a small park and the Greutterwald, a forest/vineyard area perfect for walking, running or bicycling. So, you're close to nature, but also not far from the city.

Den Vermietern ist es sehr wichtig, potentielle Mieter*innen kennenzulernen. Deshalb kann es sein, dass du nach einer Besichtigung noch ein zweites Mal vorbeikommen musst, je nachdem, wie es zeitlich passt. Die beiden sind aber total nett und wollen nur wissen, wer da in ihr Haus zieht.
