Die Wohnung ist ausreichend hell, trotz Tiefpaterre, es handelt sich um ein Zimmer, was räumlich vom Küchenbereich getrennt ist, jedoch ohne Zwischentür. Eine Dusche ist mit im Zimmer drin, die Toilette ist außerhalb der Wohnung. Ein kleiner Ofen ist vorhanden, sowie 2 Herdplatten, eine Spühle. Eine Waschmaschine steht dem ganzen Haus frei zur Verfügung. Die Wohnung bleibt auch im Hochsommer angenehm kühl.
Die Lage mitten in der Altstadt, direkt am Schloss, gegenüber vom Schlosscafe, entschädigt für so mancherlei Nachteile des Wohnens in einem historischen Altbau. Verkehrstechnisch ist die Wonung eher ungünstig gelegen. Zum Umzug kann man schon mal vor das Haus vorfahren, es gibt jedoch keine öffentlichen Parkplätze, nur Anwohnerparken. Die nächsten Bushaltestellen sind Neckarbrücke und Parkhaus König, jeweils etwa 10 min Fußweg entfernt.
Die Ansprüche an Komfort sollten nicht allzu hoch sein. Es werden Studenten bevorzugt.
