Int'l Master student with child looking for a 1-room-apartment/shared apartment

Hello all! :)
My name is Asma, I am a 27-year-old Indian about to arrive in Tübingen soon, and I am bringing with me my 2-year-old daughter. I am enrolled for the masters program in Computational Linguistics at Tübingen University.

I love to use kitchen, be it for cooking, baking or eating ;)
Most of my free time is spent either reading, writing haiku'ish poems, and spending time with my daughter. Once my day at the university is completed, I want to make sure the rest of my day is spent well with my daughter. I occassionaly go for jogging and cycling.

My daughter is already 2 which means she's talking and walking and bustling with all the energy she has. My daughter has already been registered at the daycare facility of Tübingen and will be at the daycare whenever I am at the University.
My husband runs his own accounts and auditing company and therefore cannot join us permanently to stay with us in Tübingen and has decided to stay back in India, though he will be visiting my daughter and I once in six months or so.

I am currently seeking a 1-room-apartment close to the University surroundings or one that is easily accessible by public transport. Since I am looking for a home with my daughter, I also wish for a place that is child-friendly. Nonetheless, I am also willing to accept places that are otherwise (including shared apartments if the other tenants are willing to share with my daughter and I), under dire circumstances.
