UK visiting academic looking for apartment for 5 months

I am a visiting academic from the UK; I am a member of staff and PhD student at Coventry University in the Department of English and Languages. I will be attending Tubingen University from 15/10/2013-15/02/14 to study in the Department of Computer Sciences, by invitation. I am looking for a five month lease, but will accept a shorter term if this is necessary. I am a single female and am looking for an apartment suitable for at least one person that is within reasonably easy reach of the University. I am happy to use public transport if needed. Ideally, I do not want to share facilities (e.g. kitchen, bathroom). Preferably, the accommodation will be furnished, but I will consider unfurnished or semi-furnished offers. I only speak English (currently!). My budget is up to 600 EUR/month. I am flexible on my requirements. I will provide proof of my credentials on request - please just let me know.
