A quiet 1-1.5 room Apartment with access to the University and lovely neighbours !

I am Sangeetha Shankar and I am a PhD student (employed) in the university of Tübingen and I am looking for a 1/1.5 room flat possibly for a long term. I am a non smoking person and I enjoy a quiet place which helps my studies and friendly neighbours to interact once in a while! I would very much appreciate if it has easy access to the university and also to other necessities. I am currently not well versed in German but I am taking Deutsche course to learn the language. But my professor or my other colleagues would be able to help me if such a case arises.
