Hey everyone,
We’re currently looking for a new tenant to join our beautiful 86 sqm apartment located right on Helmholtzplatz, one of the most charming and vibrant squares in Berlin. The flat is situated on the 3rd floor of a classic Altbau building that comes with an elevator—so no need to worry about carrying your groceries up endless stairs! The apartment is spacious, full of character, and flooded with natural light. Helmholtzplatz and its surrounding greenery is a truly peaceful and inspiring place to live.
Inside, the flat is cozy and tastefully furnished, with everything set up so you can feel at home right away. The kitchen is fully equipped and perfect for cooking lovers—it comes with a side-by-side fridge and freezer, a dishwasher (an absolute game changer, especially in a shared flat), and all the essential dishes, cookware, and utensils you might need.
The bathroom is clean and modern and includes a washing machine for your convenience, so you won’t need to go to a laundromat.
One of the biggest perks is that the rent is all-inclusive—this means it covers furniture, service charges, heating, eco-friendly electricity, internet, and more. You won’t have to worry about any surprise costs or bills—it’s all taken care of.
We have two rooms available, one for 690€ and one for 750€.
And yes, Anmeldung (registration) is possible, which makes things much easier if you’re new to Berlin.
If this sounds like it could be your next home, feel free to reach out! We'd love to hear from you.
The flat is located right on Helmholtzplatz, in the heart of Prenzlauer Berg, one of the most sought-after and charming neighborhoods in Berlin. The area perfectly blends a relaxed, community-focused vibe with the buzz of city life. Helmholtzplatz itself is a leafy, lively square surrounded by families, creatives, and long-time locals, making it an ideal spot to enjoy both tranquility and social energy.
Just steps from your door, you’ll find a rich variety of cozy cafés, many with outdoor seating that makes people-watching a pleasure in every season. Some local favorites include Café Krone for weekend brunch, Wohnzimmer for its vintage living room vibe and great coffee, and Spreegold for breakfast or an afternoon work session. If you’re into third-wave coffee, Bonanza Coffee Roasters and The Barn are just a short walk away and serve some of the best brews in Berlin.
In the evenings, the area comes alive with lively bars and relaxed wine spots—perfect for after-work drinks or weekend hangouts. There are also countless restaurants nearby offering everything from Vietnamese pho and Italian pizza to vegan bowls and traditional German cuisine.
Beyond Helmholtzplatz, you’re just a few minutes away from several of Berlin’s iconic spots: Kastanienallee, known for its boutique shops and bohemian charm; Mauerpark, famous for its flea market and Sunday karaoke; Kulturbrauerei, a cultural complex with a cinema and seasonal events; and Kollwitzplatz, another picturesque square with a popular weekly farmers' market.
Daily essentials are effortlessly covered: there’s a Rewe supermarket, a well-stocked organic market, and a Späti (Berlin’s version of a 24/7 corner store) literally around the corner—perfect for spontaneous snacks or late-night cravings.
When it comes to public transportation, the flat is incredibly well-connected. The M2 tram stops just nearby and takes you straight to Alexanderplatz in only six stops, making commutes or shopping trips quick and easy. Head in the opposite direction and you’ll reach the Ringbahn (S-Bahn)—Berlin’s circular train line that connects you to almost any part of the city—within a few minutes. The M10 tram, also close by, brings you to Berlin Hauptbahnhof (Central Station) in about 15 minutes, or takes you the other way to Friedrichshain and Warschauer Straße, where some of Berlin’s most legendary clubs, music venues, and nightlife await.
Hey, we are Maurine, Eva and Ines
We’re looking for someone who brings positive vibes, curiosity, and a sense of shared living to the flat—a person who is not only respectful and tidy, but also open-minded and inspiring in their own way.
Maurine is a 24-year-old French woman that works full-time in a kitchen in Mitte Despite her busy schedule, she makes time for the things she loves, like sewing upcycled clothing projects, reading, and unwinding at home. Passionate about food, she also enjoys cooking for friends, even if it’s her day job! Maurine is a clean, respectful, and easygoing roommate who values both social moments and personal space. She loves going out to see friends and spending her free time exploring flea markets in search of hidden treasures.
Eva is a 22-year-old French student currently living in Berlin while completing an internship at Haus der Kulturen. She recently moved from Paris, where she previously lived in a shared flat and developed a strong appreciation for organized, tidy, and respectful co-living environments. These values remain very important to her, as she believes they create a peaceful and enjoyable home for everyone. Eva is a calm and considerate person who takes responsibility seriously. She’s easy-going yet mindful of others’ needs, making her a reliable and pleasant person to live with.
Ines is a 20-year-old French student spending a semester abroad in Berlin, where she is studying Political Science at Freie Universität. Responsible, quiet, and respectful, she values a clean and organized living environment. Ines enjoys reading, cooking, and playing music in her free time, and prefers a calm lifestyle over partying. She’s a non-smoker, considerate of others, and committed to taking good care of any space she lives in.
Ideally, you're a working professional or a master’s student who enjoys good conversation, the occasional shared dinner or movie night, and the comfort of coming home to a peaceful, cozy atmosphere after a long day. We’re not a party flat, but we do value connection and love creating a space where everyone feels truly at home.
Our apartment has a warm, international feel, with roommates from different backgrounds who enjoy exchanging stories, music, food, and laughs. We appreciate thoughtful communication, a sense of humor, and a willingness to contribute to the good energy of the space. If you’re someone who enjoys both independent downtime and occasional moments of togetherness, you’ll likely feel right at home here.
Please note that the room is not suitable for couples or pets, as we're looking to maintain a balance in the shared spaces.
We’re really looking forward to meeting potential new flatmates soon! Due to the high number of messages we receive, we can only reply to applications that seem like a good fit for the flat dynamic—thanks so much for your understanding. To help us get in touch faster, please include your WhatsApp number in your message.
Thank you very much for reading we know how hard it is to find a great place in Berlin!
