Das 12 m² große Zimmer verfügt über eine großzügige Fensterfront in Nordwest-Ausrichtung, die für viel Tageslicht sorgt, ohne das Zimmer im Sommer übermäßig aufzuheizen. Vom vorherigen Mieter stehen ein Bett, ein Schreibtisch und weitere Möbelstücke im Zimmer, welche dieser gerne für 200 € an den Nachmieter abgeben würde (dies beinhaltet auch Kosten für gemeinsam angeschaffte Einrichtungsgegenstände)
Neben den drei gleich geschnittenen WG-Zimmern bietet die Wohnung ein gemeinsames Wohnzimmer mit einer großen, ausklappbaren Couch, die auch für Übernachtungsgäste genutzt werden kann.
Die Küche ist zwar klein, aber funktional ausgestattet: Kühlschrank, Gefrierfach, Backofen, zwei Herdplatten, Mikrowelle und Heißluftfritteuse sind vorhanden. Für die Zubereitung aufwändiger Menüs ist sie jedoch weniger geeignet.
Zusätzlich verfügt die Wohnung über einen kleinen Balkon zum ruhigen Innenhof sowie eine Abstellkammer zur Lagerung von Lebensmitteln. Ein Kellerraum gehört ebenfalls zur Wohnung und kann als zusätzlicher Stauraum genutzt werden, ist jedoch nicht besonders sauber.

The 12 m² room features a large window facing northwest, providing plenty of natural light without causing excessive heat in the summer. The previous tenant would like to sell their bed, desk, and some other furniture for a total of 200 € (this inlcudes a fee for furniture that was bought with all flatmates).
In addition to the three equally sized bedrooms, the apartment offers a shared living room with a large fold-out couch, which can also be used for overnight guests.
The kitchen is small but fully equipped with everything you need: a refrigerator, freezer compartment, oven, two stovetops, microwave, and air fryer are all available. However, it is not ideal for preparing elaborate multi-course meals.
The apartment also has a small balcony facing the quiet courtyard and a storage room for food supplies. There is also a basement room that can be used for additional storage, although it is not particularly clean.

Die Wohnung liegt direkt an der Haltestelle Oststraße, von hier aus kommst du schnell zu allen Hochschulen in Düsseldorf, in die Altstadt und überall sonst in der Stadt. Zum Hauptbahnhof sind es nur 6 Minuten zu Fuß, von dort aus hast du schnellen Anschluss in alle Stadtteile und Nachbarorte. Die Altstadt erreichst du in etwa 10 Minuten zu Fuß, und zur berühmten Königsallee sind es nur 5 Minuten. Supermärkte wie Edeka und Lidl sind auch nur 5 Minuten entfernt. Außerdem liegt die Wohnung mitten im japanischen Viertel, wo du viele coole Restaurants und Cafés findest – perfekt, wenn du gerne mal was Neues ausprobieren willst!
The apartment is right by the Oststraße tram stop, so you can get to all the universities in Düsseldorf, the Old Town, and pretty much anywhere in the city super quickly. The main train station is just a 6-minute walk away, giving you fast connections to all parts of the city and nearby towns. The Old Town is about a 10-minute walk, and the famous Königsallee is only 5 minutes away. Supermarkets like Edeka and Lidl are also just 5 minutes on foot. Plus, the apartment is right in the middle of the Japanese Quarter, where you’ll find lots of cool restaurants and cafés – perfect if you like trying new things!
Deine zukünftigen Mitbewohner sind Alex (30, Doktorand in Biochemie) und Mie (23, Studentin für Modernes Japan). Bei uns läuft alles locker – jeder hat seine Ruhe, aber gemeinsame Filmabende oder spontane Spiele-Runden (analog oder digital) sind hier genauso normal. Perfekt, wenn du nicht ständig Action brauchst, aber trotzdem gerne nette Leute um dich hast. Bei uns findest du immer jemanden zum Reden, egal ob du nach einem stressigen Tag Dampf ablassen willst oder einfach nur quatschen möchtest.

Things are pretty chill here – everyone does their own thing, but movie nights or spontaneous game sessions (be it digital or analog) are just as common. Ideal if you don’t need constant social buzz but still enjoy having cool people around. You’ll always find someone to talk to, whether you need to vent after a rough day or just want to hang out.

Note on planned rent increase:
The landlord plans to install an elevator, which will make access to the 5th floor much easier. As a result, the rent is expected to increase by about 50 € per person, raising the total costs to around 389 €. This increase will take effect once the elevator is operational, in accordance with modernization laws.
