Apartment with separate bedroom needed

Dear landlord,

I am going to enroll as a PhD student in RWTH starting 1 Jan 2016. I will stay for 4 years and hence look for a nice apartment with a spacious kitchen and a separate bedroom. I would prefer big windows/ balconies/terrace. I have a full scholarship and have lived alone for 2 years in belgium and sweden, and come with experience in maintaining the home well.

I will prefer to bike to university, so will nice to have a parking space for my bike, and nearby access to groceries.
Furnishing is not necessary. If I like the apartment pictures, I will have a friend visit the place. And if possible, I would like to take a full contract for 4 years.
