Private bathroom and rooftop terrace in international flat-share, time frame flexible

Our apartment is conveniently located very close to the S-Bahn-station "Baumschulenweg" where there are 6 different lines with trains leaving every few minutes. S9 takes you directly to Alexanderplatz (19 minutes) and Hauptbahnhof (26 minutes), for example. There are also 3 buslines.

Just around the corner is Plänterwald and Treptower Park where you can go jogging, take walks, rent boats etc. along the river Spree.

There is also a public indoor swimming pool and a tennis club within 2 minutes walk.

Everything you might need for your daily life is right here as well (countless bakeries, hairdressers, banks, several stores and supermarkets etc.). Bigger shopping centers are one stop in the one direction and two stops in the other direction, so are movie theaters.

The area (Baumschulenweg) is rather modest and casual and very safe; it has more like a small town feel to it, yet with the great S-Bahn-connection you are quickly where the action is.

We, my wife and I, live in 2 flats on 2 floors in the same house (116 square meters downstairs and 144 upstairs). This offer is for the place upstairs. My wife and I spend time in both places, dinner for the most time is in my place upstairs because I like to cook, and mostly do so. Our flat upstairs has only one room to rent out, whereas my wives` has three. Right now, we have flatmates from India, the Philippines and Germany living with us. In summary, we would be 6 people in the 2 flats, my wife and I (male) and 4 flatmates (females), 3 downstairs and you upstairs. We are all friendly, helpful, tidy and respectful and expect you to be the same.

International women are preferred because we know how important it is to have a decent and safe place when you come to a strange country.

We share a common WhatsApp-Group together, so we can stay in-touch and be informed. If you want to cook or hang-out in front of the TV or on the terrace together with girls from downstairs in your place upstairs that would be fine and appreciated, and vice versa. In fact, we strongly prefer flatmates that are social and interact with each other, so we have a nice community, while of course respecting privacy as well.

We take turns cleaning the common rooms of the flat every week. So every two weeks it will be your turn to clean the joined spaces (of the above flat). Everyone takes care of their own room and bathroom and respects the privacy of the other flatmates. But also in between the weekly cleaning it is important for us that everyone cleans up after themselves so we maintain a clean joint area.

We offer a temporary stay only, no permanent living solution. Minimum stay 3 months, maximum flexible up till December 2022, maybe even longer. Move-in date is flexible - feel free to ask.

We are looking exclusively for applications from nice women (sorry guys!).

Cleanliness and tidyness in the shared areas is important to us! Please only apply if you can absolutely adjust to this! Smoking is not allowed.

Since we care a lot about the environment we would greatly appreciate if you do not waste resources (water, electricity, heating, trash).
