It's situated in the 0,5th floor so it's not really 1st floor it's only a bit higher than ground because there are a few steps going up. But it's just next to the entrance.

Our shared house is in the western part of bremen and lies within two minute walking distance from public transport stop "Gröpelingen" away. The trams 2,3 and 10 stop there.
There are quite a bit shopping opportunities nearby. Rewe, Penny, a pharmacy, a haircutter, a pub and a drugstore are in about 5 minutes walking distance.
A huge shopping mall called Waterfront is also nearby with a plentitude of clothing shops like H&M, Esprit, Primark and many more.
The High school of fine arts can be reached by tram and walking in about 15 minutes.
Central Station / city center (Domsheide) in about 20 minutes and the University in about 45 minutes depending on the chosen connection.
The living experience depends heavily on the (free time of the) people so there are times when people do more stuff together like cook, go out, play cards, watch movies, etc. but then also there some phases of more indivualism ;) thus it is also okay if you want to concentrate on your studies or other professional activities as long as you are not against sharing some good time together at least some times.
