Student from USA spending 3 months in Germany

Hi! My name is Claire Block and I am looking for a 1 room furnished apartment OR 1 room furnished with roommates and share the flat, I am looking for whatever feels comfortable and is money-friendly. :) I am a third year student at Arizona State University studying Materials Science. I will be studying at the University of Duisburg-Essen on scholarship from DAAD for three months from May 14-August 14 and need housing for that whole time.
