The apartment is located in the side wing with a large window into the really large, green courtyard. Therefore, it is nice and bright even during the day and you get direct sunlight. The ceilings are higher than average, making the room seem quiet large.
The apartment is furnished (thereby also calculates the total rent), but I own little furniture, so there is the possibility to add your own furniture.
Directly around the corner is the bus station Rathaus Schöneberg, as well as the U4. About 10 min. walk away is the U7 with the stations Eisenacher Straße and Bayerischer Platz. The Ringbahn and the S1 are also within 10/15 min. walking distance.
In the immediate vicinity are many parks, supermarkets, drugstores. In addition, the Schöneberg City Hall is virtually right on the doorstep. On the square there are weekly flea markets.
Since the apartment is located above a small pub, there are sometimes problems with smoke nuisance in the colder months. The smoke doesn't see through the windows, but through the floorboards due to the old building. However, I am currently in the process of finding a solution with the landlord.
