The current roommates are moving through private changes over the next 3-4 months. We are looking for new people who want us, the place and the new ones and who could feel like friendship together. From now on it is possible, latest arrival date late July beginning August. Rental ratio unlimited.

For all of us, this means a new beginning as a community, in which we have a room to restructure together and to embark on changes and cooperation.

Who we are?

We are a couple, Jessi (30) lives in WG, Jacob (32) lives in a bus in Freiburg and is also very often in the WG. Jessi has been living in the WG since the beginning (4 years) and has seen many people come and go. Jacob now wants to be there and create a second home here.

Jacob studies environmental science, has a green thumb, bakes like cakes, is handcrafted and with its cheerful way anywhere at the start where it could be fun.
Jessi is an educator, but does not work in Kindi, but accompanies FSJ seminars. Occupationally, she's gone Monday-Friday. She loves everything nature and ecology is and is committed to the local SoLaWi.

With us, life plays close to nature, often outside, at making & creating. Whether climbing, traveling, gardening, hiking, cycling or skiing... Glotze and co. are not our thing. From time to time, Netflix or crime scene is, of course, clear;-)
In addition, we would describe ourselves as young adults or adult children, who like to enjoy fun, play, crazy ideas and realize childhood dreams.

How do you say “order is half life”? Jessi is trying to turn chaos into order, and to make things structured. Often it still ends chaotic as life is. But in the cleanliness level of the apartment it is clear that it is decent from scratch. It is therefore important to have a cleaning plan and additional own initiative.

People are looking for the three free rooms – all about 15 m2.
Two of the rooms are located to the east side (Morgensonne). The tracks are located on the other side of the house, so in these rooms there is less to hear from the train.

The other room is west towards the former platform (Sun).

The ceiling height is high! – that is why every room has a practical intermediate podium at about 2 m height, which is currently used as a high bed. In addition, each room has a beautiful large window front with wide window boards.
The apartment is located in the EC of the listed railway station.

“Traumzimmer mit Highlight. The room has the absolute highlights of the apartment: the old original ticket switch of the train station and its own Sweden stove.
Through the high bed the room is super spacious and you get a lot under - possibly. Depending on the furniture you have to play some Tetris so that you don't have the five doors and the ticket switch (yes, the room has five doors) but there's room to the top.

Great plus: Three of the five doors (in the stairwell, the hallway and the other room) were isolated with my entrance. The room is therefore soundproof and soundproof.
You also have beautiful morning sun and can heat with the oven in winter. The room is therefore optimal: in summer not too hot and in winter as warm as you want.
There is also a door outside with a small terrace that you can make yourself comfortable if you want. ‘

The rest of the apartment can be described as follows:

“Our heart and meeting point of the apartment is the large kitchen with kitchen appliances, induction stove and everything you need. Also the large tiled stove where we could even bake ups, pizza and bread.
There is a beautiful bathroom with freestanding tub, shower and two sinks, as well as real parquet flooring.
The gas heating makes the old building only conditionally warm, so we additionally heat with tile stove and the oven in one of the rooms of the east side. As a joint action, in autumn the wood is to be bought and stacked.

There is also a small garden. In the garden there is also a large, shade-spending tree with hammock for lottery life. There are also four chickens in the garden and bring fresh eggs daily.
Tree and garden also mean laube, collect garbage, weeds jäten, get traffic safety obligations like dead wood from the tree or other. ‘

“Ah and there is the endlessly long passage with a lot of traffic jams. And a basement in which there is also room for ski, snowboard, bicycle and co.”

Important to know: In the house (Altbau) nature is quite noticeable with the seasons (spring, summer, autumn, winter) - wind & weather and temperature is experienceable - you just have to like that! The floors snore and the walls are not 100% soundproofed. As charming as the old building is, it will never be a new building and will not keep the temperature constant to 22°C+ or automatically airs. We will be happy to tell you more about the corners and edges of the house.

Durch private Veränderungen ziehen die jetzigen Mitbewohner*innen in den nächsten 3-4 Monaten aus. Wir suchen neue Leute, die Lust auf uns, den Ort und Neues haben und sich das Zusammenleben nach Freundschaft anfühlen könnte. Einzug ab jetzt möglich, spätester Einzugstermin Ende Juli-Anfang August. Mietverhältnis unbefristet.

Für uns alle bedeutet das ein Neuanfang als Gemeinschaft, bei dem Spielraum besteht Gemeinsam neu zu gestalten und sich auf Veränderungen und das Miteinander einzulassen.

Wer wir sind?

Wir sind ein Paar, Jessi (30) wohnt in der WG, Jacob (32) wohnt in einem Bus in Freiburg und ist aber auch sehr oft in der WG. Jessi wohnt schon seit Beginn (4 Jahre) in der WG und hat viele Menschen kommen und gehen sehen. Jacob hat nun Lust mit dabei zu sein und sich hier eine zweite Heimat zu schaffen.

Jacob studiert Umweltwissenschaften, hat einen grünen Daumen, backt gerne Kuchen, ist handwerklich geschickt und mit seiner fröhlichen Art überall am Start wo es lustig werden könnte.
Jessi ist Erzieherin, arbeitet aber nicht im Kindi, sondern begleitet FSJ Seminare. Beruflich ist sie hin und wieder Montag-Freitag weg. Sie liebt alles, was Natur und Öko ist und engagiert sich bei der örtlichen SoLaWi (Vorständin).

Bei uns spielt sich das Leben nah an der Natur, oft draußen, am Machen & schaffen ab. Ob Klettern, Reisen, Gärtnern, Wandern, Radeln oder Ski… Glotze und co. sind so gar nicht unser Ding. Ab und zu mal Netflix oder Tatort geht aber natürlich schon auch klar;-)
Zudem würden wir uns als junggebliebene Erwachsene oder auch erwachsene Kinder beschreiben, die sich gerne auf Spaß, Spiel, verrückte Ideen einlassen und Kindheitsträume verwirklichen.

Wie sagt man so schön „Ordnung ist das halbe Leben“? Jessi ist versucht Chaos in Ordnung zu verwandeln, und Dinge strukturiert anzugehen. Oftmals endet es trotzdem chaotisch, wie das Leben halt so ist. Aber im Sauberkeitsniveau der Wohnung zeichnet sich ab, dass sie von Grund auf ordentlich ist. Daher ist ihr ein Putzplan und zusätzliche Eigeninitiative wichtig.

Gesucht werden Menschen für die drei freien Zimmer – alle in etwa 15 m² groß.
Zwei der Zimmer liegen zur Ostseite (Morgensonne). Die Gleise liegen auf der anderen Seite des Hauses, daher ist in diesen Zimmern weniger vom Zuggeschehen zu hören.

Das andere Zimmer liegt westlich zum ehemaligen Bahnsteig hin (Abendsonne).

Die Deckenhöhe ist hoch! – deshalb ist in jedem Zimmer ist ein praktisches Zwischenpodest auf etwa 2 m Höhe eingebaut, welches derzeit als Hochbett genutzt wird. Außerdem haben die Zimmer jeweils eine schöne große Fensterfront mit breiten Fensterbrettern.
Die Wohnung liegt im EG des denkmalgeschützten Bahnhofs.

Das sagt Franzi (aktuelle Mitbewohnerin, hat 3 Jahre+ mit im Haus gewohnt) zu ihrem Zimmer:
Achtung es folgt ein versteckter Werbeblock fürs beste Zimmer :D

„Traumzimmer mit Highlight. Das Zimmer hat die absoluten Highlights der Wohnung: den alten original Fahrkartenschalter des Bahnhofs und einen eigenen Schwedenofen.
Durch das Hochbett ist das Zimmer super geräumig und man bekommt sehr viel unter - evtl. muss man je nach Möbel etwas Tetris spielen, damit einem die fünf Türen und der Fahrkartenschalter (yes, das Zimmer hat fünf Türen) nicht in die Quere kommen, aber nach oben hin gibt es ja auch noch Platz.

Großes Plus: Drei der fünf Türen (ins Treppenhaus, den Gang und zum anderen Zimmer) wurden mit meinem Einzug isoliert. Das Zimmer ist also nun schall- und durchzugsicher.
Man hat außerdem wunderschöne Morgensonne und kann im Winter mit dem Ofen beliebig dazu heizen. Klimatisch ist das Zimmer also optimal: im Sommer nicht zu heiß und im Winter so warm wie du es möchtest.
Es gibt außerdem noch eine Türe nach draußen mit einer kleinen Terrasse, die man sich gemütlich machen kann, wenn man möchte.“

Der Rest der Wohnung lässt sich ungefähr so beschreiben:

„Unser Herzstück und Treffpunkt der Wohnung bildet die große Wohnküche mit Küchengeräten, Induktionsherd und allem, was man so braucht. Auch dem großen Kachelofen, in dem wir sogar Aufläufe, Pizza und Brot backen könnten.
Es gibt ein wunderschönes Badezimmer mit freistehender Wanne, Dusche und zwei Waschbecken, sowie echtem Parkettboden.
Die Gasheizung macht den Altbau nur bedingt warm, daher heizen wir zusätzlich mit Kachelofen und dem Ofen in einem der Zimmer der Ostseite. Als gemeinsame Aktion steht im Herbst das Holz besorgen und stapeln an.

Einen kleinen Garten gibts auch dazu. Im Garten steht auch ein großer, schattenspendender Baum mit Hängematte fürs Lotterleben. Auch wohnen hier im Garten vier Hühner und bringen täglich frische Eier.
Baum und Garten bedeuten aber auch Laub rechen, Müll sammeln, Unkraut jäten, Verkehrssicherungspflichten wie Totholz aus dem Baum holen oder Sonstiges.“

„Ach und da gibts dann noch den endlos langen Gang mit ganz vielen Staumöglichkeiten. Und einen Kelleranteil in dem es auch nochmal Platz für Ski, Snowboard, Fahrrad und Co.“ gibt.

! Wichtig zu wissen: Im Haus (Altbau) ist die Natur mit den Jahreszeiten (Frühling, Sommer, Herbst, Winter) durchaus spürbar - Wind & Wetter und Temperatur ist erlebbar - das muss man einfach mögen! Die Böden knarzen und die Wände sind nicht 100% schallisoliert. So charmant der Altbau auch ist, wird er nie ein Neubau sein und eben nicht die Temperatur konstant auf 22°C+ halten oder automatisch Lüften.
