More information about me

We – Jon and Jesslyn – are looking for two rooms in a WG for up to €400 p/month each, ideally as of the 1. December, later also possible.

What we are looking for:

We would love to live with other people who share our interest in personal and spiritual growth, meditation, being a part of the positive change we want to see in the world and who are also relaxed and fun to be around. We would like to co-create a wonderful, alive space, both in terms of the actual house and in the relationships between the people living there. Of course individual time and space is totally valued and important to us too. In an ideal world, the place we lived in would have a balcony or garden.

So here some information about us:

Jesslyn (from Germany): I am a psychologist and have started working with young refugees in Berlin. Unsurprisingly, I am interested in psychology-related topics, approaches to healing and personal growth. Nature is incredibly important to me, and my plan since moving to Berlin has been to go out into the countryside at least every 14 days to refuel. I would love to get into nature-based healing approaches more, including vision quests, shamanic work, as well as rites of passage, and I see myself working in this way in the long run. I am a comfort-junky, so lighting candles, creating cosy spaces and making nice meals etc. is important to me. That also means that I’d like to live with people who respect the community space, which for me means more keeping the rooms cosy rather than pedantically clean.

Jon (from the UK): I am self-employed, working from home through the Internet as a professional life coach, supporting people to grow, heal, deepen their consciousness and do what they are most passionate about in the world. I also have co-founded an international project that focuses on the integration of spirituality with local and global action to support positive social change, and plan to write a book this year on integrative global spirituality. I am interested in everything that helps people to live a happy, conscious, fulfilled, and deep life – spirituality, psychology, and collective evolution. I practice Tibetan Buddhism, which I am also just starting to teach, and have a deep appreciation for all other spiritual paths too.

Together we have facilitated we-practice courses (and wish to continue doing so in Berlin) – an approach to collective spiritual practice that deepens trust, intimacy and consciousness between groups. We are a couple that lives and learns together, enjoys spending time together but also time apart. We like going dancing once in a while to anything with a good beat, enjoy cooking (mostly vegetarian) dinners, taking walks, occasional museum visits, meeting up with friends,...

If all of this resonates for you and you think we may fit into your WG, we’d love to hear from you!
