Da ich für ein Praktikum 8 Monate nicht in Aachen sein werde, vermiete ich mein Zimmer für diesen Zeitraum unter.
Dein zukünftiges Zimmer ist 20 qm groß, mit Süd-West Ausrichtung und hat den vermutlich Besten Ausblick über Aachen und auf den Aachener Dom:)
Alle Möbel, die sich in dem Zimmer befinden bleiben über den Zeitraum drin. Dir stehen ein Bett mit Schubladen (1,40x2,00), eine Kommode als Kleiderschrank, ein Sekretär den ich als Schreibtisch verwende und ein Sofa zur Verfügung. Wenn du mal Besuch hast kann man das Sofa sogar noch ausklappen:)
Das Zimmer befindet sich am Ende des Flurs von dem alle Zimmer abgehen. Unser Balkon mit einem Fenster zur Küche ist im Sommer natürlich das Highlight der Wohnung. Das Bad hat Tageslicht und ist mit einer Dusch-Badewanne ausgestattet. Unsere Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet was du so täglich brauchen wirst. Wir haben ein kleines Kellerabteil in dem du auch zum Beispiel dein Fahrrad unterbringen könntest. Hier ist außerdem auch die Waschküche mit unserer Waschmaschiene zu finden.
As I will not be in Aachen for 8 months for an internship, I am subrenting my room for this period.
Your future room is 20 square meters, facing south-west and has probably the best view over Aachen and the Aachen Cathedral :)
All the furniture in the room will remain in it for the duration of your stay. You have a bed with drawers (1.40x2.00), a chest of drawers as a closet, a secretary that I use as a desk and a sofa. If you have visitors, you can even fold out the sofa :)
The room is at the end of the corridor from which all the rooms lead off. Our balcony with a window to the kitchen is of course the highlight of the apartment in summer. The bathroom has natural light and is equipped with a shower/bathtub. Our kitchen is equipped with everything you need for your daily brew. We have a small cellar compartment where you can store your bike, for example. Here you can find our washing machine as well.

Unsere Wohnung befindet sich im Norden von Aachen direkt gegenüber vom Stadtpark auf der anderen Straßenseite. Zwei Bushaltestellen sind in zwei verschiedene Richtungen jeweils Fußläufig in 3 min zu erreichen. Zur Uni kannst du aber auch in 10 min laufen:) Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind auch in weniger als 10 min zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die Gegend ist sehr angenehm und ruhig. Die Wohnung befindet sich in der dritten Etage als Aufstockung auf einem wunderschönen denkmalgeschützten Altbau. Im Haus wohnen auch einige Studenten und Paare.
Our apartment is located in the north of Aachen directly opposite the city park on the other side of the street. There are two bus stops in two different directions within 3 minutes walking distance. You can also walk to the university in 10 minutes :) Shopping facilities can also be reached on foot in less than 10 minutes. The area is very pleasant and quiet. The apartment is located on the third floor of a beautiful listed old building. Some students and couples also live in the building.

Du würdest mit meinen zwei Mitbewohnern Lars und Johannes zusammenwohnen. Ich würde unser WG-Leben als sehr entspannt und locker beschreiben. Wir kochen gerne mal zusammen oder laden Freunde ein, um den Sommer auf dem Balkon zu genießen oder schauen Filme zusammen und und und... Meistens passiert das Abends, weil man tagsüber ja eher unterwegs ist:) Damit das Zusammenleben nicht chaotisch wird haben wir einen Putzplan, an den wir uns alle halten. Falls man aber mal einen Tag zu spät dran ist, ist das auch nicht Schlimm;)
Lars:
Ich bin 23 Jahre alt, und studiere im 6.Semester Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen.Bau. an der RWTH.
In der Freizeit treibe ich gerne Sport (verschiedene Hochschulsportarten, und gehe ins Uni-Gym).
Gerne unternehme ich was mit Freunden, spiele Spiele oder treffe mich einmal die Woche zum Doppelkopf.
Aber auch für ruhigere Abend mit den Mitbewohnern, mal ne Serie schauen oder einfach nur quatschen, bin ich gerne zuhaben.
Johannes:
Ich bin 21 und studiere Materialwissenschaft im 4. Semester an der RWTH.
Sonst spiele ich Football, koche sehr gern und viel und bin großer Musikfan. Außerdem benutze ich den Balkon im Sommer sehr viel für Gemüse und Kräuter was dann auch alles verkocht wird.
Ich bin eigentlich immer zum raus gehen, Film gucken oder eine Runde Mario Kart zu haben.
You would be living with my two flatmates Lars and Johannes. I would describe our shared flat life as very relaxed and easy-going. We like to cook together or invite friends over to enjoy the summer on the balcony or watch movies together and so on... This usually happens in the evening, because we tend to be out and about during the day :) We have a cleaning schedule that we all stick to so that living together doesn't become chaotic. But if you're a day late once, that's not a big problem;)
Lars:
I'm 23 years old and I'm studying industrial engineering and construction at the RWTH in the 6th semester.
In my free time I like to do sports (various university sports, and I go to the university gym).
I like to go out with friends, play games or meet up once a week to play Doppelkopf.
But I'm also happy to spend quiet evenings with my flatmates, watching a series or just chatting.
Johannes:
I'm 21 and studying materials science in my 4th semester at the RWTH.
I also play football, like to cook a lot and am a big music fan. I also use the balcony a lot in summer to grow vegetables and herbs, which I then cook.
I'm always up for going out, watching a movie or playing Mario Kart.

Die Miete von 500€ ergibt sich aus der Kaltmiete der Wohnung, den Nebenkosten (Strom, Gas, Internet) und einer Pauschale der Möbel die du benutzen darfst.
Die Kaution beträgt 900€. Das Geld liegt dann für den Zeitraum sicher auf einem Sparbuch.

The rent of 470€ is made up of the basic rent of the apartment and the additional costs (electricity, gas, internet) as well as a lump sum for the furniture you are allowed to use.
I ask for a deposit of 900€ for the period, as the room is sublet furnished. The money will be kept safely in a savings account for the period.
