Our wonderful Giuseppe found is own affordable apartment in Berlin (wild, I know.) and is sadly moving on. So now his beautiful, semi-furnished room is available for at least one year. The couch and the chest of drawers can stay in the room.
Please ONLY keep reading and apply if:
- are at least 30 years old
- have a full time job
- do not mind coal heating (every room has its own oven)
- do not smoke at home
- want to stay at least a year
- are very clean and tidy
The room has two big windows, wooden floors and it’s super quiet but still you are in the coolest neighbourhood of Berlin. Plus it‘s „sound proof“ - you don‘t hear the other room mates in your space :)
The location is amazing. In the heart of Kreuzberg, yet the apartment feels calm. Plenty of supermarkets, yoga studios, clubs, bars, cafes and restaurants around. The canal is super close and perfect for running, plus there is a big pool across the street. Honestly I wouldn't want to live anywhere else in Berlin...
I'm the Hauptmieterin but I'm currently finishing my master's in film directing in Hamburg and therefore will only move back to the apartment in October. Until then you'd live with Sep, a lovely Iranian guy with an infectious laugh, who works in tech and often travels and Laura, a German/Spanish student doing an internship in Berlin (she will stay until May/June and then one other person will take over my room before I finally come back in October.)
It's important to me that you have a full time job (preferably something legal that gets you out of the house sometimes ;)) and don't come to Berlin to party and lose yourself (no judgment, just not my home vibe). The apartment is my beloved home and I want the people who live in it to treat it with love and care.
The price (€580) includes everything except the coal we have to buy each winter (aprox €150 per person for the whole winter), we even have someone who comes to clean the house every other week (included in the rent). The whole apartment is fully equipped but you need to be open to buy new things when needed - needed - f.ex. if the washing machine breaks, we split the bill and get a new one. You think we need more water glasses - get them ;)
This is a classic Untermiete (sublease) with Anmeldung (registration), so all legal.
So we are just looking for someone lovely, chill, working, who wants to share a home and is well organised.
