USA student looking for WG for Internship at RWTH Aachen from June to Dec 2024

My name is Benny Wu. I'm originally from Beijing, China, and I have been living in Peru since I was ten. Then I went to a boarding school in Scranton, PA, USA (The office). So I speak Chinese, Spanish, and English fluently.

I'm a fourth year Mechanical Engineering undergraduate student at Northeastern University in Boston, USA. As part of Northeastern University internship program, I will be conducting research at RWTH Aachen University process engineering lab from July to Dec 2024.

Because of my global ground, I'm really extroverted and have been told by people that I always bring lots of energy and positivity wherever I go. I always enjoy connecting with people from different background and learning new culture. Since, it will be my first time in Germany, I really excited to meet new people and explore new opportunities.

I'm also passionate about social justice and helping the community, and I'm in the Mock Trial club and taking social justice classes at Northeastern.

I have been living in dorms and shared apartments since high school. In my free time, I like to stay active, so I would go for a run or swim and play basketball and lacrosse with friends. I also played handball for my school for long time, so I'm really interested in joining the handball team at Aachen University. I really enjoy reading, listening to old music, having a good conversation with friends. And I'd like to be friends with my roommates, but I'm also respectful other's personal space and time. I'm really neat and always keep the shared space clean.
