Student Intern for the Summer (June-August)

I am a university student from the United States who will be an intern at RWTH Aachen for the summer. I am looking for a short-term rent in either flatshare or 1-room flat, and ideally furnished with at least a bed.
I enjoy chatting and getting to know others, but am also very okay with alone time. Looking to move in on 31 May, if possible, and move out by 19 August. I will be working at the university hospital, so something either in that area or with direct bus route is great.
I speak English, Spanish, some French, and very little German, but I am trying to learn more :)
