I will leave the flat permanently since I'm moving in with my partner. The room might even be available for longer, but most likely only until end of june.
The 25 qm room is bright and feels quite big due to the high "Altbau" ceiling.
The room is adjacent to the neighbours who have a small kid, so you hear it from time but it didn't really bother me.
I will take some of the furniture with me so the room will only come partly furnished. What will stay is basically the desk, the bed frame and some smaller stuff.
The flat is about 100 qm big and has two other rooms (Nic / living room + Emily), a bathroom with a shower/tub and washing machine and a big open kitchen in the entrance.
The flat is located in the quite Kiez "Baumschulenweg" which is close to the "Treptower Park" and "Neukölln". From my experience, it's a quite and calm neighbourhood with a mix of elderly people and young families, but you can find the typical Berlin alternative people here as well.
The place is close to the M41 and SBahn (S9) which brings you to the city center quickly. There is also a nice biking path through a park that takes you directly to Kreuzberg in about 15 minutes.
In the same street, you have a few good restaurants and grocery stores, basically everything you need.
I'm currently living in the flat with my two canadian friends, Nic (26) and Emily (26). Nic and me are good friends and know each other from climbing. Emily just moved to Germany and has been friends with Nic for a long time. Living together is therefore very chill and easy, so we're looking for someone who is happy to hang out from time to time.
We use Nic's big room (35qm) as a living room and like to host friends there every now and then but ofc it's also more than ok if someone just needs some private time.
If you read this far, please start your message with "Allez" (Climbers will know, but you're also more than welcome if you don't like climbing at all :D ).
Please tell us a bit about yourself and your past experiences with shared flats. I will go through all applications and invite a few people for viewings.
